Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Academy is seeking a dedicated leader to serve as Vice-Principal and Teacher beginning August 2026.

The ideal candidate is a committed follower of Christ, an experienced educator with strong leadership capacity, and a professional with a valid BC teaching certificate and a graduate degree in Educational Leadership or a related field.

This position combines school leadership with classroom teaching responsibilities. Approximately half of the role is dedicated to administrative leadership as Vice-Principal, working collaboratively with the Principal, staff, and the broader school community. The remaining half of the role involves classroom teaching assignments aligned with school needs. When not engaged in administrative duties, the successful candidate will support general teaching needs across grade levels and subject areas as required.

Compensation

Salary Range: $70,000 – $105,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience) Health Benefits: Yes

Qualifications

  • Valid and current BC teaching certificate
  • Graduate degree in Educational Leadership and/or Curriculum Design (preferred)
  • Minimum five years of teaching experience
  • Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom teaching ability with flexibility to teach across grade levels/subject areas as needed
  • Understanding of financial responsibilities within an independent school setting (asset)
  • Administrative experience considered an asset
  • Agreement with the School's Statement of Faith
