We are seeking a dynamic, faith-filled leader to serve in a dual role as Vice Principal & Inclusive Education Lead. This full-time position combines school-wide leadership with oversight of inclusive education, ensuring that all students are supported, valued, and equipped to thrive.

Position Overview
The Vice Principal & Inclusive Education Lead works in close partnership with the Principal and school leadership team to provide administrative leadership, spiritual guidance, and oversight of inclusive education services.
This role blends school-wide leadership responsibilities with direct oversight of learning support programs, staff, and student services to ensure excellence in both academics and student care.
The successful candidate will be an experienced educator, collaborative leader, and committed follower of Christ.
Key Responsibilities
1. School Leadership & Administration
- Support the Principal in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the school
- Contribute to school-wide planning, policy development, and strategic growth
- Assist with staff supervision, evaluation, and professional development
- Support student discipline, restorative practices, and school culture
- Participate in financial planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Provide leadership presence for students, staff, and families
2. Spiritual & Community Leadership
- Model Christ-centred leadership in all interactions
- Support staff and students in spiritual growth
- Engage with families, churches, and community partners
- Promote a culture of grace, respect, and service
3. Inclusive Education Leadership
- Lead and manage the school’s inclusive education program
- Oversee the development, implementation, and review of IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, EAs, counsellors, and families
- Determine EA support levels and coordinate EA schedules
- Provide guidance on behavioural and regulation strategies
- Liaise with external professionals (OT, SLP, psychologists, etc.)
- Communicate student progress with parents and staff
4. Student & Classroom Support
- Provide direct support to students (in-class, small group, or one-on-one)
- Support teachers with differentiated instruction and inclusive practices
- Promote Universal Design for Learning (UDL) school-wide
5. Professional Development
- Lead or coordinate training related to inclusive education
- Stay current with BC Ministry guidelines and best practices
Qualifications
- Valid BC Teaching Certificate
- Graduate degree in Educational Leadership and/or Curriculum Design
- Minimum of five years of teaching experience
- Experience in Learning Support or Inclusive Education leadership
- Strong understanding of IEPs, UDL, and differentiated instruction
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to Christian education and the school’s Statement of Faith
Preferred
- Special Education certification or coursework
- Experience in a Christian independent school
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention or SIVA training
- Administrative experience
