Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood education and experience working with children in a classroom setting. This role involves teaching French language skills while fostering a love for learning and cultural appreciation among students. The French Teacher will utilize effective communication skills and innovative teaching methods to engage students and enhance their learning experience.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for French language education.
  • Teach French vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students, including those with special education requirements.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and provide feedback on assignments.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress in the French language.
  • Provide tutoring support to students who may need additional assistance outside of regular class hours.
  • Collaborate with other educators to integrate math concepts into language learning where applicable.
  • Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.
  • Proofread educational materials to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, French Language, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in early childhood education and working directly with children is essential.
  • Classroom experience with proven teaching methodologies that engage students effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective instruction and interaction with students and parents.
  • Familiarity with tutoring practices that enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Knowledge of special education practices is a plus, enabling support for diverse learners in the classroom.
