Hello parents!

We have an upcoming PAC AGM on May 10, 2022, from 6:30-8:00 pm in the school chapel at which time we call for nominations for elected positions and vote for the upcoming 2022/23 school year.

We are calling for nominations for the following elected positions:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Parent/Board Representative

Non-elected positions include the following:

  • Treasurer trainee
  • Secretary trainee
  • Hospitality/Events Coordinator Lead
  • PAC Marketing/communications Lead
  • Hot Lunch Coordinator/Volunteers
  • Fundraising Volunteers

If you would like to be more involved in PAC activities and/or feel you have gifts and talents making you a suitable candidate, please speak to current PAC president, Kelly Hiller, or Vice President, Madelein Smit. We would love to know more about you and how you could serve either in the upcoming 2022/23 school year or if you'd like to be mentored into a position for a future year.  At the moment we have a particular interest in those who may have bookkeeping experience for consideration and mentoring over the next year for Treasurer.  

In addition, if you feel you are gifted in the area of hospitality or event planning and coordination, we would love to talk with you as well. The future direction of PAC is to recommend that no one person continues in a position for more than 2 years maximum. This is not a rule, but rather a recommendation to encourage fluidity and familiarity with the various roles and responsibilities related to Parent Advisory Committee activities.

PAC continues to play a vital role in building a sense of community, fundraising to enhance the school experience and liaising with school administration to communicate parent vision, concerns and ideas. We welcome everyone to get involved and become a part of the team!
