It's been two weeks of "learning at a distance" since Spring Break. Parents, children and Gaglardi staff are off to a great start. Most of you have jumped in with both feet and we are so thrilled with the response. Please remember that we are not trying to replicate the classroom "online" nor are we wanting students to be in front of a screen all day. As we refine our practices, my hope is that authentic learning opportunities emerge that engage students in the essentials of their subject areas. The Ministry calls this "sufficient" learning.

If you are a parent with children in multiple ages/grades, you may need our help to simplify learning to accommodate the whole family and take some of the stress out of your day. Reach out to teachers, Mrs Penner or myself and let us know if the expectations seem too much. We're here to help.

May the Lord bless you all. You are doing wonderfully. All the staff comment regularly on how much they are missing your children.

With love,

Bernadette Pitcher
