To Families of Gaglardi Academy,

My name is Amanda Borkowski and I am the new PAC President for the 2023-24 school year. I feel very honoured and privileged to take on this new position. Thank you PAC Executive Team.

The PAC Executive Team includes:

  • President – Amanda Borkowski
  • Vice President – Jasmine Badrin
  • Treasurer – Patricia Dol
  • Secretary – Janine Cox

Here is a little bit of info about me: Our family is starting our second year attending Gaglardi Academy. My husband and I have 15 kids in total with 9 still in the home. We are a large adoptive family. Seven attend Gaglardi in grades 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, and 12. I love volunteering and being a part of the school. So hopefully, I can speak for the whole school as I have many kids in different grades. Last year I helped a lot with the field trips and driving. My family has felt very welcomed here.

This is a new position to take on and I plan on being the voice your families want me to be. I am open to listening and bringing forth your concerns and wants so please don’t hesitate to contact me or approach me. I look forward to meeting you.

We currently hold our PAC meetings every second Tuesday of each month starting at 6:30 pm. We strongly encourage parents to attend each meeting so that you all have an understanding of what the PAC Executive team's goals are and what we are working on.

We are looking forward to a great 2023/2024 school year.
