Saturday, March 11, is a bonus reading day for all K-7 students who are part of the Reading Club. This means that for every 15 minutes you read, you can record it on your daily reading sheet! There's a PAC meeting on Tuesday, March 14, at 6:30 pm in the school's chapel. Come one, come all! But if you do come, please leave your children at home with your spouse or a sitter since there is no childcare available at the school. And kids don't find meetings all that engaging, can you believe it? Thanks for your cooperation! 

On Thursday, March 16, the school is hosting a Young Writers Institute: It Rocks To Be A Story Ninja with Canadian author, Sigmund Brouwer. With over four million books in print, Mr Brouwer is an award-winning, bestselling author of both children's and adult books. Wowza. We're so looking forward to his visit!

Mrs Keenan and her grade 6 and 7 students are hosting a St. Padddy's Day Bake Sale for Tanzania on Friday, March 17, at lunch recess in their portable classroom (113). Baked goods range in price from 50 cents to $3.00. Bring your spare change!

All proceeds go toward the Tanzania missions trip 2023.

Now that the good weather is on its way, we ask parents to remind their children to be aware of the flurry of activity surrounding the pick-up and drop-off areas of our school. Students who ride bikes, scooters or skateboards need to navigate school sidewalks with care and attention, plus must wear a helmet while on school property. And hey, while we're talking about this, if your child wants to ride their scooter, skateboard, or pogo stick on the school campus, a consent form needs to be submitted to the office. If you haven't yet completed one, click the link below for our fillable consent form.

Also, this is very important! We've noticed children darting in and out between the parked school buses. Parents, please tell your children this is a very unsafe practice and to stay away from the buses. Students are to stay on the sidewalks while waiting to be picked up AND use the crosswalks to cross the street. Please and thank you!

Oh, speaking of buses! As you know, buses are large vehicles and need a lot of room to manoeuvre so do not park right behind or in front of them if you're parking on the street. Give them lots of space. Again, please and thanks!

Sell tickets for PAC's raffle and raise funds for the school AND buy raffle tickets for the chance to win fantastic prizes. Either way, you're a winner in our books! :D

Please note that sold ticket stubs need to be returned to the office by Wednesday, March 22. And if you sell all your tickets right away, don't despair! You can get more at the office! The draw date takes place at the school on Friday, March 24, at 12:30 pm during the PAC BBQ.
