High School Technology Use Update

High School Technology Use Update

To create a more focused and engaging school environment, we’re making some changes to technology use for our high school students:

  • No Cell Phones: Students must drop off their phones before school starts and can pick them up after school.
  • Wi-Fi Access: Student Wi-Fi will be turned off during lunch. For those needing to complete school work, school computers will be available.

These changes aim to encourage more meaningful interactions and a better learning experience.

Reading Club Kicks Off on September 3rd!

We’re excited to announce that the Reading Club is starting September 3rd for all Kindergarten to Grade 6 students. To join, track your child’s daily reading using the Reading Club log sheet. Each day your child reads for at least 15 minutes, fill in a line on the log.

Don’t forget about Bonus Reading Days—the second Saturday of every month—where extra reading time means extra lines on the log!

Students will be recognized for their reading achievements throughout the year, with special awards for those who reach major milestones. Encourage your child to dive into the joy of reading and watch their progress grow!
