Saturday, March 13, is a bonus reading day for all K-7 students who are part of the Reading Club. This means that for every 15 minutes you read, you can record it on your daily reading sheet!  Need reading sheets? You know what to do. :D

If you forgot to purchase raffle tickets, it's ok, your time has not run out! On Monday, March 15th, there will be a table set up outside after school from 2:30-3:15 pm where we will be selling last-minute raffle tickets for $5 each.

There are Great Prizes Available so don't miss out. Winners will be drawn on Tuesday, March 16, during our online PAC meeting.

After much consideration, this year's Gaglardi's Got Talent show will be held on Monday, March 15, at the school during the grades K-7 assembly and not on Thursday, March 18, as previously stated. The reason for the change of date and venue is that very few students auditioned this year so instead of a wide variety of talents to display, there are only a small few. So, after live-streaming the event to our school classrooms on Monday at 9 am, the link to the video will be given to families so you too can enjoy the show! Expect the email mid-morning on Monday!

Yes, you read that correctly. Thursday, March 18, is the last day of school before Spring Break and it is a regular school day starting and ending at the same time it usually does. An email from Mrs Pitcher was sent out earlier this week about the change of date and hopefully, you've had a chance to read it. In case you haven't, I've included it below for your reading convenience.

Dear beloved families:

Spring Break is coming up quickly! Friday, March 19th, is currently the last day before Spring Break and our custom in the past has been to have a half-day of school with early dismissal at 11:30 am, a BBQ hosted by PAC, and winners of the PAC Raffle drawn and announced. However, due to Covid once again, BBQs and gatherings are not able to happen, unfortunately. But there is some good news!...

Yesterday, March 11, the grade 12's were filming for their missions project. Stay tuned for information about Dream Elephants and how you can be involved in helping young people in Tanzania pursue their post-secondary dreams!

Over the weekend, crews will be setting up the actual play structure equipment with the hope that it will be available for students to use on Tuesday, March 16. So exciting for our students!
