We're so glad you're looking forward to getting your copy! We'll let you know as soon as we can when we receive that information. In the meantime, thanks for your patience! |
Bonus Reading Day
This Saturday, Sep 11, is the first Bonus Reading Day for all K-7 students who've decided to be part of the Reading Club which is a really good decision! This means that for every 15 minutes they read, they can record it on the daily reading log sheet! For those of you who don't know about the Reading Club, please check your email inbox for an email from Mrs Mac outlining all the details. If you didn't get it, let me know (communications@gaglardiacademy.ca) and to get the information, check out our website at the link below or email Mrs Mac at pauline@gaglardiacademy.ca. She'd love to have your child join this prestigious club. :) To get started, click the link below to get your daily reading log sheets below. Happy reading! It's all about K-7 library!
Our book-loving librarian would like you to know that she is changing a library procedure. In years past, a Library Agreement form has been sent home to all students from grades K-7 to be filled out, signed, and returned to the school so students can participate in their library class (ie. check out library books). This year, she's decided to go green and save paper by using the previous year's agreement for all future years since rarely anyone opts of the program - actually, "not at all" were her exact words, come to think of it. And since new students to our school have already filled in the agreement form with the marvellous Mrs Mulgrew, there's really no reason to keep on with an unnecessary procedure. So if you are a new or returning K-7 family and you want your child to be able to check out library books, no further action is required on your part. BUT if you'd rather not have your K-7 child check-out library books, please contact the librarian by clicking the link below so she can update her files. No, really, please contact her 'cause she's very fastidious about such things. Surprising? I think not. :) For more infomation visit:
