And the winner is...
As announced last week, we had the final weigh-in on Monday at 2:00 pm. And the winner is...(drum roll)...both the BOYS and GIRLS! Woohooooo....! Now, this might sound a bit anti-climatic but let me explain. The BOYS won for weight coming in at 14lbs 6oz vs the GIRLS' 13lbs 2oz. However, the GIRLS won for the amount of money raised bringing in $313.47 vs the BOYS' amount of $212.90. See? Both ARE winners! Actually, the real winners might be the Tanzanian schools and children since our missions team will be using some of the funds to take sports equipment to them. Isn't it amazing how a fun challenge between children in our school benefits other children and other schools across the globe? It truly is. Thanks for encouraging your children to participate in this challenge so we can be a blessing. Everyone wins! Hooray! :D For more infomation visit: http://pjgaglardiacademy.ca/news/tanzania-missions-team-news |
