Students and staff have a holiday from school on Remembrance Day, Nov. 11. Please take time tomorrow to remember our veterans and current military servicemen and women. Lest we forget. 

Saturday, Nov. 12, is a bonus reading day for all K-7 students who are part of the Reading Club. This means that for every 15 minutes you read, you can record it on your daily reading sheet! Happy day!

Grade 7-9 Girls: Monday, Nov. 14, at Cumberland. Games are from 3:30-5:00 pm. Zone Playoffs are on Friday, Nov. 18, in Port Alberni. 

Grade 6 Coed:  Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Royston. Games are from 3:00-4:00 pm.

Bring your spare change! Grade 4 and 5 students in Mrs Spragg's classroom (105) are hosting a Bake Sale for Tanzania on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at lunch recess. Baked items cost 50 cents and up. 

All proceeds go to the Tanzania missions trip. Thanks for your support!

Select Grade 8 and 9 students are playing handbells for seniors at Glacier View Lodge on Thursday, Nov. 17.

There's still time for parents of grades K-4 students to register for our Parent Information Sessions on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 6:00-7:00 pm. This event is free! Don't miss out on learning more about what teaching staff do at school and how you can effectively support your K-4 children at home. 

If you're wondering how your K-7 student is doing in school, plan to attend Student-led Conferences on Nov. 22 and 23 between 1:00-3:00 pm. Conferences for grades 4-7 students are on Tuesday, Nov. 22, and grades K-3 are on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Parents of kids 4 years and up, mark your calendars! Grade 10-12 students are hosting a More than a Movie Night at the school on Friday, Dec. 2, from 4:30-9:00 pm. It will be a night of activities like carnival games, gym time, crafts, LEGO and board games, a movie and popcorn, PLUS the option of having pizza too. Wowzers! Drop off your kiddos so you can shop for Christmas gifts or just have a rare, relaxing night out together BUT you must pre-register!

Looking for someone to take your family's annual Christmas photo to send to relatives and friends? No probs. We got you, fam! The Tanzania missions team is hosting a photo shoot on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 8 AM-5 PM just in time for the holidays! Each preregistered family will have a 15-minute session in front of a lovely, holiday-themed backdrop (see photo above). The cost is $40 which includes 5 digital photos.
