Students in grades 8-12 are showing school spirit by celebrating Arrows Week from Monday, May 31, to Friday, June 4, from 12:25-1:40 pm with all sorts of activities and competitions. Bring athletic wear and clothing that corresponds with your house colour (black, red, blue or green). Sounds fun!

Support our Grade 12 Missions by buying a tie for a Father's Day gift!

Ties are $2 each or three for $5 and will be available to purchase every Wednesday after school starting June 2. The last day to purchase ties is June 16.

Students in grades 6 and 9 have immunizations on Friday, June 4, starting at 9 am in the chapel.

All library books are due back into the library on Friday, June 4. This is the time of year when we sort and refile all out-of-place books on shelves to get them ready for next year. It's a big job and the librarian would so appreciate it if all students return the books promptly on June 4. No tardy books, please and thank you! :)

The last day for dropping off bottles for the Grade 12 bottle drive fundraiser is Friday, June 4. We will not be accepting bottles after that. Thanks so much to our school community for their generous support over the year!

Saturday, June 5, is the LAST Bonus Reading Day for all K-7 students who are part of the Reading Club. The deadline to hand in all your completed reading sheets is Wednesday, June 9. 

Jeans Day was fun! It was so much fun that we didn't get any photos of students and staff wearing their jeans. Which everyone pretty much did, by the way. But though we lack in photos, we have an abundance in funds raised which was the whole point anyway. The amount raised was $553.70. Thank you so much for your generosity to Care-a-Van who run an essential service in our valley.

The final PAC meeting of the year, which also happens to be our AGM, is when elections for executive positions for the upcoming year happen. It will be online on Tuesday, June 15th, at 6:30 pm at this link: PAC AGM including executive elections

Bernadette Pitcher is going to be coming for the first 1/2-hour of the meeting to provide the school report and allow for a Q & A period for parents. Hello all uniform washing, tracking, and purchasing parents! 

Do your kids have uniform items that are too small, that they don’t wear, or that they can’t pass on to a younger sibling? Well, we have a solution for you! The Gaglardi PAC used uniform sale would love to have those items to help with our fundraising.

A labelled Rubbermaid bin will be available in front of the school from May 31st until June 11th...

Our delightful director wanted to give you this recent Covid vaccine news so you could make informed decisions for your family:

The Ministry of Health has issued a news release on the provincial vaccine rollout for children between 12-17 years old,
including how children and their parents/caregivers can register and book their vaccine appointments. BCCDC has also
developed an information brochure, with additional details on the vaccine program for children. More information is also available on the BCCDC website.

PS. There is a daily health check application (K-12 Health Check) for parents and students to help them determine if they should be attending school or not. The application is available online as a mobile-enabled website, an IPhone application, and a Google Android application.

The website calendar is the easiest way to find about school events and activities. And since it's always being updated, make sure to check it often. Bookmark the page for even easier access or subscribe!

PS. Important dates for the 2021-22 school year have already been added to the website calendar. This means that if you're hankering to know when Spring Break is, you can find out without even picking up the phone! See, I'm always thinking about you. :D
