If you are a new family, then you won't know that re-registration is something we always do at this time of year and is a necessary part of being in an independent school. Unlike public schools, which assume that if your children are currently attending then they will attend the following year, we can't do that. Independent schools have to ask and then receive your response. So thanks to all those who have already responded. (If you come to the library, I'll give you a sticker to reward a job well done! :D) For those who haven't yet filled out our online registration form, please do so as soon as possible. We need the numbers now in order to plan for next year. Thanks!

PS. If you're wondering when you'll meet with the registrar to go over your tuition payment plan, that will happen in May and June. We'll let you know when it's time to make your appointment.

This month's PAC meeting is an IN-PERSON meeting on Tuesday, March 8, at 6:30 pm in the chapel. Please come and participate!

It's a big day! Grade 12 students are having their grad photos taken on Wednesday, March 9, in the chapel. 

There are too many vehicles racing in and out of the Drop-off/Pick-up zone during a time when there are many pedestrians - parents and children - walking about. Please be considerate of the safety of our families and slowly enter and exit this area. It would be a misfortune indeed if, by a driver's recklessness, someone got injured. SLOW DOWN, please and thank you!

Our PAC is hosting a family BBQ on March 18 at 12:00 pm! It will be a fun time visiting with other Gaglardi Academy families before we break for Spring Break. Plus the PAC Raffle 2022 winners will be drawn. Woo! 

To participate, you'll need to preorder the number of hot dogs that you think your family will eat. An order form should have come home this week. Please complete and return by March 7. Hot dogs are $1 each. If you didn't receive a form, please come to the school office.

PS. Preordering provides PAC with (a) an estimate for the number of dogs and (b) a commitment from families to come and eat them thereby reducing waste. :)

Tickets went on sale on March 1, 2022, with sales ending March 11th. Please note that all tickets – sold and unsold – must be returned to the school by March 11th.

Regular draw date: March 18th at the Gaglardi Academy PAC BBQ. Winners need not be present and will be notified the next day, but hopefully, you'll stay for the BBQ.

On Thursday, March 3, Mrs Keenan and her Grade 8 students participated in a medieval feast in the woods at the back of the school. Each student was given a role to play: there was a king and queen, a few knights, two merchants, a cook, a few peasants and a priest. They dressed in medieval costumes...
