Are you looking for a fun family event? This event has been forwarded to us to share with all of you; take a look! Strathcona Symphony Orchestra presents Family Fun at the Filberg Centre on March 9th and 10th. This concert is open to elementary school ages (Kindergarten to Grade 7) and their young families. Little ones and their families might get to conduct the SSO’s musicians or play instruments in a rousing selection of musical favourites and enjoy some fun musical antics.
This immersive musical experience will capture the familiarity and nostalgia of famous cartoons and other animated films, giving listeners of all ages the joy of recognizing their favourite childhood themes. From Bugs Bunny’s playful antics to Aladdin’s carpet ride, these memorable pieces will ignite the imagination of our audiences and hopefully win some hearts over to the joy of classical music.
