Preschool Program Director

Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Academy is a Preschool to Grade 12 Christian educational institute located in the Comox Valley. Beginning in the 2023-24 school year, Gaglardi Academy is looking for a qualified ECE director to manage and run its play-based preschool program. The preschool, Little Sprouts Christian Preschool, is located five minutes from the main campus at Bay Community Church, 1105 Pritchard Road, in Comox and operates a morning program Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The Preschool Program Director must have:

• a current ECE certification, 
• First Aid level C and 
• a minimum of five years of experience working with children in a preschool setting.  

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young children, be flexible and calm, able to establish consistent routines and have excellent administrative and organizational skills. Candidates must also have the ability and the knowledge to integrate Christian teaching into daily routines. Some knowledge of child development and experience in learning behaviours would be an asset. This position has competitive industry wage rates.
