POSITION: Marketer

Summary 

The Marketer is responsible for various administrative and social media platforms as well as the school website.  The Marketer will compose, design and distribute assorted forms of communication both internally and externally.  Applying social media and web design knowledge, the Marketer is expected to infuse the school’s vision and mission within its creative designs.  The Marketer will work collaboratively with Senior Leadership and others, and acts as a resource and advisor for marketing and brand strategy. 

Primary duties:

  • Composing communication information in both digital and print formats
  • Maintain strong public relations and brand image 
  • Identify and implement opportunities to promote awareness of our school programs
  • Develop and implement fundraising and project marketing campaigns
  • Develop and deliver short and long-term marketing strategies and campaigns that align with the school’s vision, mission, and identity    
  • Developing promotional videos
  • Updating and maintaining the school website, its content and design
  • Expand and maintain our social media presence 
  • Developing advertising and promotional materials for international recruiters 
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Leadership and others, and acts as a resource and advisor for marketing and brand strategy
  • Providing photography for school events and activities throughout the year
  • Building relationships with local Churches 
  • Assembling and distributing the school yearbook

 Qualifications:

  • A committed, church-attending Christian
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing 
  • 3 – 5 years of experience with Digital and print marketing including websites
  • Knowledge in different areas of Marketing; mobile, services marketing, online, offline, promotions and branding
  • Genuine interest in Digital Marketing

HOURS OF WORK

  • It is expected that the Marketer will be available to work regular hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.  
  • It is expected that the Marketer attend all special events which may take place outside or the regular working hours.  
  • Additional hours may be required for example during the planning and or implementation of a marketing campaign or project.
