PAC's annual Spring Raffle is here!
PAC is launching its 2023 Spring Raffle today! Watch for tickets coming home in your child's backpack which you can then sell to neighbours, family, friends, and anyone else who looks like they'd like the chance to win something...which is almost everyone. Or purchase them yourself for more chances to win! :D The prizes are pretty fantastic too. For more details, click the link below. Sold ticket stubs need to be back in the office by March 22. And if you sell all your tickets right away, don't despair, you can get more at the office! (Unless they're sold out which would be a good problem to have.) The draw date takes place at the school on Friday, March 24, at 12:30 pm during the PAC BBQ. Make sure you're there! (Although I think you can still win if you aren't but why take the chance?) Gr 8-9 Students & the Coldest Night of the YearThis just in from our terrific Mrs Tansky: Last week, students in the 8-9 missions class had the opportunity to participate in the "Coldest Night of the Year" community event, raising money for two Comox Valley charities - Comox Valley Transition Society and Dawn to Dawn. A few students braved the cold and snow to do the two-kilometre walk in downtown Courtenay. Many more students worked hard to raise awareness and funds to support the walkers. Well done! In total, we raised $1276.00. Thanks for your support! As a follow-up, students are working on care packages for those in our community who are vulnerable. We will be putting them together this week.
