It’s Missions Week and high school students (minus the grade 12s on the Tanzania team) are involved in a few service projects for churches and non-profits. Such great ministry opportunities!
Tuesday, May 23
Students are:
- Gardening at St Peter's Anglican helping with spring cleanup from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
- Participating in a work bee at Selah Campsite from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
- Working at Bread of Life Food Bank from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
- Participating in a work day at Camp Bob from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Helping out a St. George's soup kitchen from 10:30 am to 1:30-2:00 pm.
- At Camp Homewood cleaning up the camp for summer activities from 9:00 am to 4-4:30 pm
Wednesday, May 24
- Grades 8-11 students are picking up garbage at various locations around the Comox Valley from 9:00 am to12:00 pm
Wednesday, May 24, to Friday, May 26
- Grade 10 and 11 students are heading to Victoria to work with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) on various mission opportunities around the city.
